In the universe of this anime, people can enter a parallel world and kill the monsters that inhabit it. These are the Hunters, people who have dedicated their lives to fighting monsters. They can become stronger and increase their level, find treasure and earn a living through hunting.

The story’s protagonist, a young boy named Sung Jin, is a low-ranking hunter who has little chance of success. One day Son Jin accidentally falls into a dangerous dungeon and almost dies there along with his troop. Later, when he comes to his senses, he realises that the world is much more complicated than he thought. Now Sungjin understands how he can raise his level and continue fighting monsters.
